On October 14, an annular solar eclipse will cross a small part of North America. EclipseFest23 is just 20 miles from Crater Lake National Park, and offers unobstructed views of the eclipse while surrounded by other eclipse chasers, families, campers, and outdoor enthusiasts.
The ring of fire eclipse is a once-in-a-generation event.

Safely View The Eclipse
A direct look at a total eclipse is only safe during its totality, when the moon entirely blocks the sun’s rays. That lasts about 90 seconds. The only safe way to observe an eclipse during the rest of the three minutes on either side of totality is to use an eclipse viewer or observe indirectly through pinhole projection. We have all the details on how to best see every aspect of this incredible phenomenon right here.
